The DreamLips Toolbox

As a new Independent Senegence Distributor, it is important that you get up and running quickly.  To assist with this, we have put together a list of tools that many of us have found helpful.  You are not required to use any of them, but take a look: it may save you the trial and error we went through before deciding that these are the best. We’ve also been able to get you some discounts for a few of the providers.

Business Cards & “Tips & Tricks” Note Cards

You should always hand out your business cards, and attach them to any literature you hand out – such as Beauty Books.  The “Tips & Tricks” note cards are also very helpful to new users of LipSense.

We like the cards produced by Trish Springer – check out this link.  She will provide digital images with your name and details, and you can then send the digital images to a printer of your choice.  Use a local printer such as The FedEx Store or Office Depot, or an online printer.  We recommend Gotprint.com.  Use their paper stock Trifecta Black – Triple-Layered Ultimate if you want the thickest stock of business card paper you have ever seen.

Credit Card Processing

You need a way to take credit card in person as well as online.  There are many options, but we recommend Square.  Their pricing is competitive (2.75% of the amount, no fixed monthly fee) and the service is easy to use and reliable.  You will get a small swipe reader for free (will not work with the latest iPhone though), and you can buy a Bluetooth reader for about $50. Use this link to sign up and get your first $1,000 processed without a fee.

Postage

Many of us have customers in other cities – friends, relatives or just random customers that found us.  You can take your packages to the post office for postage, but that’s a hassle…  You can use the U.S. Postal Service Click-n-Ship service to print postage at home, but only for Priority Mail packages (postage is around $7.00).  If you want to be able to print First Class postage (postage for a padded envelope is about $3.00), use Stamps.com.  It’s about $15 per month, so if it saves you a few trips to the post office, it’s probably worth it.  Click here to sign up for a free 4-week trial and $5.00 in free postage.

Most of us by our supplies from Amazon.  Here are a few things we use:

Glossy wand applicator tool

LipSense tube organizer

Drawstring pouches

Bubble mailers

Address labels (use for LipSense tubes and on other products for ease of re-order)

Ring light for selfies

Smartphone bluetooth remote camera shutter (for selfies)

Lipstick stickers

Carrying bag

Sorry, we haven’t found the perfect bag yet… We’ll update you when we do.

Website with your own domain name

Do you want your own website (like this) with your own domain name?  It’s easy to sign up for web hosting and the domain name, but to build the site, you will need some knowledge of WordPress.  We suggest Bluehost as your hosting provider, and they can sell you a domain name registration also.  Sign up here with Bluehost.  Contact us if you need help understanding how to set up a website.  Keep in mind that it takes time, some expertise, effort and some money to run a website like this one.
